The report aimed to explore the capability of different technologies to provide community benefits and to identify any necessary adjustments to Scotland’s current approach. It also considered how mandating could work in practice for on-shore technologies. It identified significant data challenges associated with developing a robust socio-economic analysis framework that might help assess technologies’ capabilities to offer benefits.
