In Brazil and in the world, irrigated agriculture has been a field of activity of vast expansion, producing foods present in the Brazilian table and that are exported outside the country, from that, Rio Paranaíba - MG, occupies the ranking of municipalities with greater advance in irrigated areas in the country, therefore, showing great growth over the years, which shows that it is not compatible with the collective water grants declared and described by the environmental agency. Through the NDVI, resulting from the processing of CBERS4 satellite images, it was possible to evaluate the growing number of pivots in the municipality, and showing that it is not compatible with what is declared in grants, which can be explained is that the grant has a validity of 10 years, so the producer already foresees future steps. With this, what could be better developed would be their annual update, so that there is greater control, and also the information of the other types of declarations is available for consultation.

No Brasil e no mundo, a agricultura irrigada tem apresentado um grande crescimento, fornecendo alimento para o consumo interno e para a exportação. O Município de Rio Paranaíba – MG se destaca como um dos líderes no avanço de irrigação no país. Entretanto, esse crescimento não está compatível com as outorgas coletivas de água declaradas e descritas pelo órgão ambiental. Por meio do NDVI, resultante do processamento de imagens de satélite CBERS 4, foi possível avaliar o crescimento de pivôs no município. Foi constatado que esse crescimento não é compatível com o declarado em outorgas. Isso pode ser explicado pelo fato de que as outorgas possuem uma validade de 10 anos, o que leva o produtor a já prever passos futuros. Portanto, seria recomendável realizar uma atualização anual das outorgas, para que se tenha um controle mais precisa, além de disponibilizar as informações das outras declarações para consulta.
