Russia's lack of a satisfactory geography in terms of climate and topography pushes it to sheltered geographies. 2. Historically, the Sea of Azov and its surroundings constitute the mechanism of Russia's roots and expansion in Europe. 3. The fan population settled by the Russians on both sides of the Sea of Azov necessitated Russia's presence in the region. 4. Russia gaining power in the Black Sea by turning the Sea of Azov into an inland sea in terms of political and military control. 5. Not wanting to lose the transit market area from a commercial perspective. 6. Russia wants to create a security line from Dublin to Vladivostok against Europe and NATO. The narrowing of Russia's sphere of influence around the Sea of Azov will reveal new geopolitical dynamics, such as the USA breaking Russian influence through Ukraine, the transfer of regional control to European countries and NATO, the removal of the Ukrainian buffer, and Russia being stuck in Asia. In addition, the encirclement of Russia by NATO means the narrowing of Russia's political expansion. Energy security and the security of the Black Sea and Caspian Basins will be at risk. Russia's withdrawal from this region will cause the breaking of historical-ethnic ties and the breaking of the security circle. The study will be evaluated over the Black Sea, Crimea, Taman Peninsula and Ukraine. Work at Hand; Using reflectivist theory, it aims to make a comparative historical analysis of the consequences of Russia's presence around the Sea of Azov and the consequences of the narrowing of its sphere of influence over nearby regions. As a result of the study, it was understood that Russia quietly occupied the Sea of Azov and that NATO and Europe wanted to completely remove Russia from the Sea of Azov.

Rusya’nın Azak Denizi çevresinde etki sahasının daralması; ABD’nin Ukrayna üzerinden Rus etkisini kırması, bölge kontrolünün Avrupa ülkeleri ve NATO’ya geçmesi, Ukrayna tamponunun kalkması, Rusya’nın Asya’da sıkışması gibi yeni jeopolitik dinamikleri ortaya çıkaracaktır. Ayrıca Rusya’nın NATO tarafından kuşatılması, Rusya’nın siyasi genişlemesinin daralması anlamına gelmektedir. Enerji güvenliği, Karadeniz ve Hazar Havzalarının güvenliği tehlike arz edecektir. Rusya’nın bu bölgeden çekilmesi, tarihi-etnik bağlarının kopmasına ve güvenlik çemberinin kırılmasına neden olacaktır. Çalışma Karadeniz, Kırım, Taman Yarımadası, Ukrayna üzerinden değerlendirilecektir. Eldeki Çalışma; Reflektivist teori kullanılarak, Azak Denizi çevresinde Rusya’nın varlığının sonuçları ile etki sahasının daralmasının oluşturacağı sonuçlar, yakın bölgeler üzerinden karşılaştırmalı tarihsel analiz etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma sonucunda Rusya’nın Azak Denizi’ni sessizce işgal ettiği ve NATO ile Avrupa’nın Rusya’yı Azak Denizi’nden tamamen çıkarmak istediği anlaşılmıştır.
