Лечение больных телят поливалентной антитоксической сывороткой против сальмонеллеза телят, поросят и птиц

Results of studying of therapeutic efficiency of developed in the Republic of Belarus biological preparation of trial series against salmonellosis of animals and birds in the conditions of experimental salmonellosis of calves were presented. Research results showed that dualfold application of multivalent antitoxic serum against salmonellosis of calves, piglets and birds which was caused by association of S. Dublin, S. typhimurium, and S. enteritidis was accompanied by activation of humoral immunity. It was revealed in increasing of agglutinating activity of blood serum against S. enteritidis – in 11,5 times, against S. typhimurium – in 10,5 times, and against S. Dublin – in 10,0 times in 6 days after introduction of infection (4-th day after second application serum). Content of Ig M in blood serum calves which were treated with experimental serum increased in 2,0 times on the 6-th day after introduction of infection. Quantity of Ig G increased in 2,6 times by the 6-th day after introduction of infection. All these changes were typical for the clinical recovery of animals. Determination of influence of long acting antihelminthics (Aversictini boluses and boluses with albendazole) and influence of usual antihelminthics (farmatsin, alverm, fenbendavet) on first stomachanimal digestion, as well as on quantity and quality composition of microflora and microfauna in first stomach and large bowel was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. In course of the experiment there were used 6 groups of calves infested with helminths (Neoascaris vitulorum, Strongylata sp.). Research result showed that different antihelminth preparations to a greater or lesser degree rendered negative influenced on quantity and quality composition of microorganisms in first stomach and large bowel of cattle. Alverm and boluses with albendazole rendered the least influence on microflora and microfauna that could be explained by low toxicity of active substance (albendazole) of the above preparations. Aversictini boluses, fenbendavet, and farmastin changed the composition of microorganisms. It could be explained by high toxicity of preparations containing aversictini which rendered influence not only of gastro-intestinal tract but also on the whole organism. Active ingredient of mentioned above preparations (Aversektin C), being the product of microbial synthesis, rendered the antagonist action on the normal microflora of digestive tract. Negative influence of fenbendavet was caused by the chemical composition of the preparation and neurotoxic action of fenbendazol

Feeding animals with mixed feeds KP-1 with rape-cake allows to get the average daily weight gains of 848-865 g at forage spends of 2,49-2,52 forage units per 1 kg of weight gain

Analysis of the efficiency of application of fermented milk supplementary feed DKM (Belarus) produced on the basis of bacteria strain Lactobacilus acidophilus 55/06 in calve diets was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Influence of feeding with acidified with the trial milk additive on forage palatability, biochemical blood structure and calve productivity was studied; economic efficiency of DKM use for processing of whole milk and its use in rations of calves was defined. Experimental batches of DKM fermented milk supplementary feed were produced at Grodno Medical Preparations Plant (Belarus). It was issued in the sterile corked polyethylene 5, 10 and 20 liter bottles or canisters. The fermented milk supplementary feed DKM could be stored at the temperature from 0 deg С up to 15 deg С. Shelf-life – 3 months from the moment of production. The additive represents the homogeneous mass of viscous consistence of cream color of various shades with a sour-milk smell. The carried out economic calculations showed, that as a result of growing capacity increase it animals of a trial group and reception of an additional total live weight gain there was stated the 6,5% decrease of expenses for fodder unit production in the experimental group. However, due to a high cost of acidified milk the cost of fodder unit in trial group was on 6,8% higher. As a result, the cost price of 1 kg weight gain in trial group (despite high additional weight gains) was stated at the level of control group. Application of fermented milk supplementary feed DKM in calve diets made it possible to lower calf disease incidence and to increase calf productivity on 11,8% without increasing the cost price of production

Balanced complete feeding proved to be one of the major conditions of animal productivity increase and improvement of their reproductive qualities. Full value of feeding could be obtained at the expense of forage quality improvement and perfection of structure of the rations providing the increasing of metabolic energy use by breeding bull-calves. Analysis of the efficiency of metabolic energy use by the replacement bull calves under conditions of various sugar and protein ratio was realized in the Republic of Belarus. Research results showed that enrichment of replacement bull calves (with 325-405 kg of live weight) rations with easy digestible carbohydrates (sugar and starch) in ratio of 32% from a dry matter ration, including 15% of stable starch made it possible to increase the transformation of metabolic energy into energy of body weight gain on 21,73 - 23,96 MJ or on 10,3%, that as a result correspondingly increased the daily average weight gains on 7,9% and reduced the expenses for forage energy for 7,1% counting on an energy unit. According to the ejaculate volume indices the bull calves of the second experimental group surpassed analogues of a control group on 14,8%, and according to sperm concentration indices - on 12%. Research was directed towards selection of national, accessible and cheap ingredients of whole milk replacers in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. The efficiency of compounding preparation and its use in calves feeding at an early age was analysed. There was developed the technological scheme of application of hydrodynamic installation which operates according cavitating principle and makes it possible to receive the homogeneous and finely divided mass directly from grain forage that is very important for preparation of milk replacer. New equipment gives the chance to lower power consumption on 17%, to receive economic benefit. During testing of developed of milk replacer-1 (used for calves feeding since one month old) and milk replacer-2 (used for calves feeding since two months old) and their comparison with the whole milk replacer Kalvolak (the Netherlands) it was revealed, that indices of a daily average weight gain in calves of the first group fed with foreign milk replacer, and in calves of the second groups, which were fed with the national milk replacer, did not show authentic differences (806 and 816 g). However, the prime cost of 1kg of live weight gain in the second case was on 43% cheaper than in the first one. The cost price of 1kg of live weight gain of calves on expenses for fodder units in trial group was on 33% cheaper in comparison with the control group

Studying of influence of various levels of selenium on growth, protein structure of blood serum, natural resistance, and reproductive performance of pedigree bull-calves was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. It was established, that feeding with an optimum dose of selenium (0,4 mg per 1 kg of dry matter) in rations of replacement bull-calves during the raising period promoted the increasing of daily average weight gain on 6,8%, indexes of natural resistance - on 0,5-13,9%, and sperm production quality - on 4,5-27,3%. In the conditions of optimization of selenium level of in diets the protein structure of blood serum of replacement bull-calves exceeded the similar index at control animals by the crude protein index - on 8,3 (Р less than 0,05), by albumine and alpha globulin -on 2,2% and 1,6%, respectively. Application of selenium in dose of 0,4 mg per 1 kg of dry matter made it possible to increase the indexes of natural resistance on 0,5-13,9%. Increase of selenium dose up to 0,4 mg per 1 kg of dry matter in made it possible to increase the quantity and quality of sperm of bull-calves, that was proved by the increasing of ejaculate volume on 4,5%, concentration of male germ cells in ejaculate – on 15,7% (Р less than 0,05) and male germ cells activity - on 7,3% (Р less than 0,001)

There was studied the epizootic conditions on cattle rotavirus infections by the analysis of veterinary reporting of diagnostic organizations of Belarus and results of own research. Results of the data analysis about spreading of cattle rotavirus infection from 2002 for 2006 are presented. The material analysis has allowed to conclude, that annually in Belarus on rotavirus infections is registered on the average about 30 unsuccessful points. The obtained data testify that lethality for the reason of rotavirus infections makes calves from 15,9 to 32,9%. Decrease, in comparison with previous years, quantities fallen for the reason of rotavirus infections of calves testifies to purposefully spent specific preventive maintenance of the given infection, however lethality at rotavirus to an infection remains practically at one level. In the tabular form results of virology research of regional veterinary laboratory on cattle rotavirus infection on corresponding areas of Belarus are presented. From the data resulted in the table it is visible, that rotavirus allocation percent in various regions of the republic made from 9,8 to 56,7% at calves sick with enteritis. | Эпизоотическую обстановку по ротавирусной инфекции крупного рогатого скота устанавливали путем анализа ветотчетности диагностических учреждений Республики Беларусь и результатов собственных исследований. Представлены результаты анализа данных о распространении ротавирусной инфекции крупного рогатого скота за период с 2002 по 2006 годы. Анализ материала позволил заключить, что ежегодно в Республике Беларусь по ротавирусной инфекции регистрируется в среднем около 30 неблагополучных пунктов. Полученные данные свидетельствуют о том, что летальность телят по причине ротавирусной инфекции составляет от 15,9 до 32,9%. Снижение, в сравнении с предыдущими годами, количества павших по причине ротавирусной инфекции телят свидетельствует о целенаправленно проводимой специфической профилактике данной инфекции, однако летальность при ротавирусной инфекции остается практически на одном уровне. В табличной форме представлены результаты вирусологических исследований областных ветлабораторий на ротавирусную инфекцию крупного рогатого скота по соответствующим областям Республики Беларусь. Из приведенных в таблице данных видно, что процент выделения ротавируса в различных областях республики составлял от 9,8 до 56,7% у обследованных больных энтеритами телят.
