Serological properties of leptospirae bacteria grown on differential nutritive media were studied by the example of sheep in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. In the experiment there were used 6 pathogenic industrial leptospirae stock: Leptospira pomona VGNKI-6; Leptospira tarassovi VGNKI-4; Leptospira grippothyphosa VGNKI-1; Leptospira icterrohaemorragia VGNKI-2; Leptospira conicola VGNKI-3; Leptospira hardjo VGNKI-5. The results showed a serological difference of leptospirae grown on conventional and experimental media derived from ram's blood.

Investigation of histological structures of liver of fattening broiler chickens after application of concentrate of E and F vitamins produced on the basis of rapeseed oil was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in order to evaluate their efficiency for prophylaxis of massive hepatic necrosis. Research results showed that application of the vitamins on the basis of rapeseed oil promoted the support of structural properties of hepatic cells that proved their higher antioxidant efficiency in comparison with synthetic vitamin analogues

There was presented a territorial analysis of epizootic situation on rabies in the administrative districts and regions of the Republic of Belarus in the period from 1986 up to 2008. The situation of strain was stated on the territory of Vitebsk (28, 4%) and Minsk (20,2%) regions. The most stable epizootic situation was stated in Shumilin, Braslavsk and Vitebsk districts of Vitebsk region, as well as in Vologin and Minsk districts of Minsk region. Only in 1990 and 1997 there were stated no cases of rabies in Brest and in 1996 in Mogilev regions. In other years no regions were free from this infection. Economic damage from rabies cases in agricultural animals in period 1986-2008 was over 2 milliard of Belarusian rubles.

A description of a method of chemical inactivation of Aujeszky's disease virus by teotropin was studied in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. The developed inactivated viral suspension was tested for its antigenic activity. On the basis of realized experiments there were determined the optimal parameters of inactivation of Aujeszky's disease virus y means of 0,1% solution of teotropin under temperature of 37 deg C, pH 7,8 and duration of exposition of 24 hours. There were studied indexes of antigenic activity of inactivated virus

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was studied a therapeutic effectiveness and influence on milk productivity of 22% Timbendazole after spontaneous infestation of cows with fascioliasis (Fasciola hepatica). As a result of studies the Timbendazole 22% proved to be highly efficient against Fasciola hepatica in cattle – from 92,9% up to 100% (in comparison with Albendatimum-100 granulated material the efficiency of which was 88-90%). As a result of cows treatment by anthelmintics – Timbendazole 22% and Albendatimum-100 against Fasciola hepatica there was stated the substantial increasing of milk productivity of animals (on 23,4 and 11,0%, respectively) in comparison with animals which were not administratec with mentioned above preparations.

A technology of application autolysis of fodder yeasts (AFY) for the production of products with higher protein content, digestible aminoacids and other nutritive and biologically active substances in comparison with the standard fodder yeasts (provit) was tested in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus by an example of three groups of swine. Animals of the first (control) group were fed with combined feed SK-26 with addition of 2% of provit. Animals of the second group were fed with combined feed SR-26with addition of 2% of AFY, the third group - with addition 4% of AFY. Provit and AFY were included into combined feed instead of excluded protein components in equivalent number. Research results showed that autolysis of fodder yeasts did not render negative influence on productivity of fattening stores. Average daily weight gain of stores was 637-674 g. Calculation of economic efficiency of combined feeding application of 2 and 4% of AFY showed that application of 2% AFY was more economically profitable

Development of new compositions of premixes for cows with milk yield of 4-5 thousands kg per lactation depending on lactation stage and pregnancy was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Efficiency of application of premixes in comparison with the standard ones was estimated. Experiment was realized by an example of 3 groups of cows of white-and-black breed; experimental period included beginning milking period (90 days) and the main lactation period (142 days). Cows of the first control group were given premix P60-6M with combined feed. Animals of the second group were fed with premixes created on the basis of carotene and microelements content. Cows of the third group were given premixes in accordance with recommended standards. The refined standards of cow vitamin and trace elements consumption were presented. Formulas of premixes for high-producing cows were presented. The research results showed that the developed formulas corresponded to the physiological needs and their application influenced on metabolism and milk producing ability. Application of experimental premixes made it possible to increase the digestibility of nutritive substancesoin 2,3-7,5%. Application of vitamins and trace elements in heightened doses (on 10-30%) caused the increasing of their uptake and increasing of cuprum, zinc, manganese and cobalt content in blood on 11,6-40,8%

Creation of a composition for disinfection of livestock houses which possessed an expressed sanitizing action and was safe for livestock animals after the repeated application was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Formula of the presented the following components: potassium persulphate, amber and citric acids, sodium dodecyl sulfate. For strengthening of disinfecting effect there was also used detergent – sodium dodecyl sulfate (lauryl). Rational balance of components was selected and bactericidal properties of the preparation were estimated at the first stage of the study. At the second stage there was estimated theinfluence of the composition on livestock animals after the repeated aerosol spraying at their presence, as well as the biochemical, morphological and immunological blood indexes of experimental animals. Toxicity of the composition was realized by an example on white mice and rabbits. Research results showed that the composition for disinfection created on the basis of potassium persulphate and organic acids in the presented concentrations rendered the expressed bactericidal action, did not influence on metabolic indexes, had not skin and skin-resorptive action and could be used for air disinfection and surface areas of livestock houses in animal presence

Determination of the positive aspects of application of a feed additive on the basis of sodium humate and malt sprouts fortified with oaky extract in diets of high-productive cows in dry period was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Cows of black-and-white breed with average body weight 600 kg and milk-yield 6000-7000 kg were used in the experiment. Cows of experimental groups in addition to their main diet were fed with the resolved additive in doses 10-20 ml/100kg of live weight. Formula of humic additive with draft name Ehkolin-3 was developed on the basis of Ehkolin additive. Ehkolin additive in its composition contained the following compounds: organic substances; mineral substances; humic substances; melanoids; reducing agents; phenolic compounds; organic acids, and total nitrogen. Research results showed that application of the analyzed additive promoted the increasing enzyme activity in blood serum. Body weight of new born calves in experimental groups was higher than in control group. Symptoms of diseases of the digestive tract disappeared in 4-5 days in the experimental calves. Cows of the experimental groups had good colostral milk with density 1056 kg/mE3 and 55% of immunoglobulins. Impregnation capacity of in one experimental group was 50% after the first insemination, and only 33,3% and 20% in the control and the second experimental group, respectively
