Development of a new low-cost procedure for wind farm maintenance with a view to decrease soil pollution
2015

The purpose of this article is to present the development of a wind farm, with a condition monitoring system (CMS) based on control charts as the algorithm, centred on a new index, to prevent soil pollution by oil spills in wind farms. To this end, temperature sensors can be considered as one of the more significant sensors to be employed in this study, because the information obtained with regard to anemometers and electrical power output counters can be employed by the control system. As a result, among the other variables, oil temperatures sampled in multipliers used in the wind turbines of a real wind farm were employed. Statistical analyzes were developed and the relationship between wind farm maintenance (usually related to wind farm oil spills) and oil temperature was obtained. Furthermore, a practical case study, centered in the statistical process control, based on the low-cost sample variable was developed and showed that this new procedure would improve deficiencies in the maintenance process, thus, reducing the failure detection time under low sensor cost, as also the related soil pollution.

Base characteristic melioration territory "Upper Danube" inclusion round about 1.4 million ha area in Backa and Banat (Serbia, Yugoslavia) are presented in this paper. Specification problem maintenance of the drainage of system to originate because of discharge wastewater and sludge in channel and suggest in decides these problems are considered.

2015
Guerin, Turlough F.
A non invasive sampling and remediation strategy was developed and implemented at shoreline contaminated with spilt diesel. To treat the contamination, in a practical, cost-effective, and safe manner (to personnel working on the stockpiles and their ship loading activity), a non-invasive sampling and remediation strategy was designed and implemented since the location and nature of the impacted geology (rock fill) and sediment, precluded conventional ex-situ and any in-situ treatment where drilling is required. A bioremediation process using surfactant, and added N & P and increased aeration, increased the degradation rate allowing the site owner to meet their regulatory obligations. Petroleum hydrocarbons decreased from saturation concentrations to less than detectable amounts at the completion of treatment.

2004
Teodorovic, I.(Univerzitet u Novom Sadu, Novi Sad (Serbia and Montenegro). Prirodno-matematicki fakultet, Departman za biologiju i ekologiju)E-mail:teodorovic@ib.ns.ac.yu | Velimirovic, N. | Tumbas-Ivancev, I. | Prica, M. | Trickovic, J.
Pilot screening of sediment quality on selected stretches of HS DTD and transboundary water bodies in Vojvodina Province (Serbia and Montenegro) was set as an objective of this paper. The results of sediment toxicity tests indicated the necessity for remedial activities of the following stretches: DTD Vrbas - Bezdan - sampling site Vrbas - Canal Banatska Palanka - Novi Becej - sampling site Kajtasovo and Begej - sampling sites Klek and Stajicevo.
