In our country, in the spring term of the 2019-2020 academic year, the transition from face to face education to distance education has been made. On April 6, Selcuk University started distance education. The purpose of this study; This is an online survey on Selcuk University Landscape Architecture Department students’ internet access, participation in classes and their satisfaction during the distance education process. In the light of the findings and results obtained, it is a guiding tool for lecturers and those working in the system infrastructure, in case of continuing distance education as a result of the prolongation of the process or planned to be created in the future.

EXPO, which is used as the abbreviation of the word 'exposition', which means 'World Exhibition' or 'World's Fair' in English; It is a global event that has been organized around the world since the 19th century and aims to promote the city and country in which it is held in the national and international arena, raise awareness, educate the public, share innovations, produce, support development and encourage cooperation. Our country participated in this event for the first time with the 1851 London Expo Organization during the Ottoman Empire Period. It was hosted for the first time with the Expo Organization held in Antalya in 2016, and it is the host country for the second time with the Expo organization held in Hatay on April 1, 2022. Expo 2021 Hatay, whose full name is 'International Horticulture Fair Hatay, Turkey 2021'; It was accredited as a Class B international Expo by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) on January 23, 2017 and registered according to the decision of the AIPH Board of Directors. Within the scope of this study, the economic, cultural and environmental effects of the EXPO'21 Hatay organization, which is a very important tool for the national branding and development of Hatay, were evaluated, and suggestions were made about the correct reuse of the fairgrounds and their sustainability after the organization was over.

It is one of the biggest city parks of Ankara, which people can easily reach in daily use, walking, jogging, sitting, picnicking, playing etc. Göksu Park, which provides opportunities for activities such as, is built on the old Susuz pond in Eryaman. The park was opened in 2003. In this study, a 3-stage method was applied to determine and evaluate the area adequacy of the park. In the first stage, the first picture selection was made with the team of landscape architects in the park, using the nominal group technique, among the photographs taken in the area, obtained from the municipality and received the most likes from social media accounts with many followers. In the second stage, the criteria for the evaluation of field adequacy with the Delphi technique were determined by consulting the faculty members in the Department of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Agriculture, Ankara University, who were selected as experts on the subject. Then, using the observation and comparison tables, the survey questions were prepared and after the application of the survey to the visitor group and park staff, as the third step, the survey data was based on whether the difference between the observed frequencies (OF) and expected frequencies (EF) was statistically significant with the help of SPSS 25 statistical program. Chi-square independence analysis, which is a test, and linear regression analysis were performed. By counting the frequencies, the relevant photographs will be examined and the relationship between density and field adequacy has been interpreted. With this study, it will contribute to the plans and designs of new projects so that the green areas and parks that people need due to the increasing population and urbanization can be used adequately in the future.

The aim of this study; To combat the problems arising from rapid population growth and irregular urbanization in ecological terms, to ensure the integration of agriculture with the city and to develop strategies in order to ensure human health, environmental health, food safety, urban aesthetics, social integration and urban sustainability. As the study area, the adjacent area of Kırklareli has been considered. A 4-stage method was determined in the study. In the first stage, a literature review was conducted on the subject. In the second stage; The collection and examination of natural and socio-cultural data for Kırklareli province was carried out. In the third stage; As a result of the analyzes made, field observations were made and it was determined in which neighborhoods the most suitable urban agriculture model could be applied to the city of Kırklareli. In the last stage, in line with the available data and potentials for the city of Kırklareli, important strategies for the implementation of urban agriculture studies were developed and various suggestions were made.

Her toplumun inanışları ve gelenekleri doğrultusunda şekillenen mezarlık alanları, ülkemizde genellikle atıl durumda kalmış; ne insan ruhunu ne de bir zamanlar hafızası olduğu kentini besleyemez yerler haline gelmiştir. Kentsel peyzajın dinamik bir parçası olarak kabul edilen mezarlık alanlarının yer seçimi kararından, sahip olacağı son şekle kadar bütün süreçlerinin doğru şekilde planlanması durumunda kent ve kentliye pozitif etki sağlayacağı açıktır. Bu çerçevede Ordu ili, Altınordu ilçesinde yer alan altı adet şehir mezarlığının mekânsal ve tasarımsal açıdan mevcut durumları analiz edilmiş, ziyaretçilerin beklentilerini öğrenmeye yönelik anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Ayrıca Ordu kent merkezi mezarlık ihtiyacı konusunda değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur. Çalışma sonucunda mevcut mezarlıkların alansal yeterliliğe sahip oldukları, ancak kentsel peyzaja katkı sağlayabilmeleri için uygun mekânsal düzenlemelere gereksinim duydukları görülmüştür.

The primary purpose of this study is whether gender, which is a culturally and socially defined concept, affects the perception of landscape architecture. Secondly, it is aimed to determine the preferences of the designs created in landscape architecture studies according to gender and to guide the questionnaire results in the creation of areas suitable for user requests during the design phase. The concept of admiration, preference and accompanying beauty, the effect it has on people according to gender, show various differences. These differences lead to perceptual selectivity in terms of colour, texture, form, functional and aesthetically depending on gender. Therefore, tastes and preferences are not expected to be a single judgment but to vary. Since there is no possibility of face-to-face surveys due to the current Covid-19 outbreak, online surveys were conducted on 220 people who can be reached in professional groups on social media. In the content of the questionnaire, the landscape design criteria and design elements were handled, and the visuals and preferences selected for each definition were directed to the participants as questions. According to the evaluated results, differences occurred in perceptual preferences depending on gender. In addition to the fact that there was no statistically significant difference between the preferences of women and men in terms of design criteria and elements, the preferences of both groups were combined in natural or close to nature forms. Considering the proportions, there was no obvious difference in design perceptions preferred by gender.

Peyzaj mimarlığı araştırmaları; planlama, tasarım, koruma, onarım, uygulama ve yönetim konularında yapılmaktadır. Yapılan bu araştırmaların her biri için bir yöntem tasarımının kurgulanması gerekmektedir. Çalışmada, peyzaj mimarlığında araştırma alanları olan; kentsel ekosistem, açık/ yeşil alanlar ve park alanları ile ilgili bilgiler sunulmuştur. Park alanlarına odaklanılarak, araştırma yöntemleri sunulmuştur. Çalışmada, peyzaj mimarlığında kantitatif yöntemlerle yürütülen araştırmalar park alanları özelinde değerlendirilmiştir. Dünya’da ve Türkiye’de peyzaj mimarlığı araştırmalarında, araştırma materyali olan park alanlarıyla ilgili araştırma yöntemleri ortaya konularak, bilgiler sunulmuştur.

Görsel peyzaj kalitesi “bir peyzajın göreceli olarak estetik kusursuzluğu” olarak da tanımlanabilir ve gözlemcinin beğenisi aracılığı ile ölçülebilmektedir. Görsel peyzaj değerlendirmeleri kampüslerin gerek tasarım gerekse planlamasına önemli bir katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu düşünceden yola çıkılarak bu çalışmanın gelecekte tasarlanması veya planlanması düşünülen kampüsler için yol gösterici olması hedeflenmiştir. Çalışmanın görsel peyzaj analizi üç aşamada yapılmıştır. İlk aşama olarak kampüs fotoğraflarının çekilmesi ve Delphi tekniği ile görsel kalite tespitinde kullanılacak resimlerin seçilmesi, ikinci aşama görsel etki değerini tanımlayan kriterlerin belirlenerek anketin hazırlanması ve gönüllü kullanıcılara uygulanması son olarak da elde edilen anket verilerinin SPSS istatistik paket programı yardımıyla istatistik analizinin yapılmasıdır. Anket uygulanan kullanıcılar Selçuk Üniversitesi öğrencilerinden oluşan kullanıcı grubu ve Selçuk Üniversitesi Mimarlık ve Tasarım Fakültesi öğretim üyelerinden oluşan uzman grup olmak üzere iki gruba ayrılmıştır. Bu çalışmayla, görsel kalite analizi sonucunda katılımcıların tercihleri ile parametreler arasındaki ilişki analiz edilmiş ve mekânsal tercih kriterleri belirlenmiştir. Yapılmış olan görsel peyzaj kalite analizi ve değerlendirmesi sonucunda ileride yapılacak olan kampüslerin tasarım ve planlama çalışmalarında peyzajın görsel kalitesini arttıracak unsurların ortaya konulmuştur.
