Nanoteknolojik yöntemlerle nano boyuta indirgenen metal partiküller temelde biyomedikal ve fizikokimya olmak üzere eczacılık, elektrik-elektronik, otomotiv sanayi, gıda sanayi gibi pek çok farklı alanda karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Fiziksel, kimyasal ve biyolojik olmak üzere üç farklı üretim yöntemi bulunan nanopartiküller ağırlıklı olarak kimyasal yöntemlerle üretilmektedir. Ancak fiziksel ve kimyasal yöntemler yüksek sıcaklık, yüksek basınç ve toksik kimyasalların kullanımını gerektirdiği için çevre dostu ve ekonomik değildir. Bu nedenle yeşil teknoloji olarak da adlandırılan, çevre dostu ve sürdürülebilir bir yaklaşım olan biyolojik yöntemlerle metal nanopartiküllerin üretimine olan ilgi son yıllarda artmıştır. Bazı bitki ekstraktlarıyla ve mikroorganizmaların hücre içi ve hücre dışı salgılarıyla birtakım indirgenme reaksiyonları gerçekleşmekte ve metal nanopartikülleri üretilmektedir. Bakteriler doğadaki çeşitlilikleri, kolay izole edilebilir olmaları ve nanopartikül üretimindeki kolaylıkları sebebiyle son yıllarda etkin birer nano fabrika görevi görmektedirler. Bu makalede, metal nanopartiküllerin bakteriyel yöntemlerle üretimleri ve uygulama alanları derlenmiştir.

Recently, food safety which has become one of the decisive factor in demand for all food products, is becoming a major concern due to increasing sensitivity of consumers to food production and consumption. As honey is produced and marketed on more uncontrolled conditions, which is relatively different from other agricultural products, the food safety issue is becoming more intense. In this study, it is examined what kind of applications are applied in food safety in bee products in Turkey. In the second part of the study, it is aimed to determine the importance of food safety in honey consumption of urban consumers in Niğde province based on the primary data and to put consumer's consciousness in this subject. For this purpose, it was conducted a survey by interviewing face to face with 286 consumers. In the study, besides basic statistical methods, univariate analysis of variance and factor analysis method were also used to determine the effective factors in purchasing according to income groups. As a result of the research, it was determined that there is a great lack of confidence in the quality of honey in purchasing from the market due to both the concern of sugar added fraudulent honey and residual problem by consumers. For this reason, consumers prefer to buy honey from directly producers rather than market. In addition, consumers are more likely to believe that honey is less safety than in previous years. Health consciousness is an important factor in consumers purchasing honey and health and quality consciousness develops positively especially as the income level of consumers’ increases.

The aim of study were to present relationships between birth weight of 94 Holstein calves with genotype structures of each sample’s Growth Hormone (GH) determined through PCR-RFLP method and to detect the population’s genetic variation by determining the genotype and allel frequency distribution. In the study, according to the analysis result, it was determined that Growth Hormone gene LL genotype was 41.9 kg, LL was 40.8 kg, and VV was 42.2 kg for the birth weight. A significant relationship between birth weight with GH genotypes could not be found. It was seen that the calf population is not stable according to Hardy-Weinberg genetic balance test.

This study was carried out to investigate the possibilities of making silage from fruit juice industry waste.For this purpose, orange, lemon and tangerine pulp silage quality have been determined by comparing silage with maize and beet pulp silage.Treatment groups; 1) orange, 2) tangerine, 3) lemon, 4) maize and 5) sugar beet pulp. The silages were evaluated after 2 months from ensiling in the following areas: subjective evaluation, pH, dry matter, organic matter, crude protein, acid detergent fiber, neutral detergent fiber, ether extract and energy values (metabolizable energy) and net energy for lactation were calculated. As a result, it was determined that fruit juice industry residues were lower in terms of dry matter, but they contained higher energy due to their high organic matter content, digestibility and low cellulose content. In addition, it was determined that citrus pulp was evaluated as silage without any contribution.

This study was conducted to determine the effects of different nitrogen (N) fertilizer levels on botanical composition, dry matter (DM) yield, chemical composition, in situ ruminal DM and NDF degradability and net energy lactation (NEL) of a native legume-grass mixture pasture. Field and degradability trials were arranged in a Complete Randomized Block Design with three replicates. Pasture was fertilized at six levels of N fertilizer (ammonium nitrate, N0, N50, N100, N150, N200 and N250 kg/ha). Three rumen cannulated Holstein Friesian heifers (3-4 year old) were used. Feed samples were incubated for 0, 8, 12, 24, 36, 48, 72 and 96 h. Application of nitrogen fertilizer results indicated that nitrogen fertilizer decreased the legumes ratio (LR) of pasture, approximately 22.4%, Although N fertilizer increased the grass ratio (GR) of pasture approximately 55.8%. Dry matter (DM), Net energy lactation (NEL, Mcal/kg) and ash contents of pasture were increased by increasing N fertilizer level. However, when N fertilizer level increased acid detergent fiber (ADF) concentration of pasture decreased. Application of the different rate of nitrogen fertilizer had no effect on in situ rumen degradability of DM and NDF of pasture. It was also found that there was the significant positive relationship between effective NDF degradability at 48 h. rumen incubation period and different level of N fertilizer. In addition, it was determined that there was a linear and quadratic positive relationship between DM yield and different nitrogen doses. In conclusion, different rates of nitrogen application changed botanical composition, decreased ADF content and increased NEL and effective rumen degradability of neutral detergent fiber (EDNDF 48 h.) of pasture.

Çalışmanın amacı Çekişte çeşidi zeytinlerden elde edilen zeytinyağlarının ısıtma işlemi sırasında temel kalite kriterleri, oksidatif stabilite ve yağ asidi bileşiminde meydana gelen değişimlerin belirlenmesidir. Bu amaçla Aydın ilinden 2017 yılında hasat edilmiş olan Çekişte çeşidi zeytinlerden elde edilmiş olan zeytinyağı, 100°C sıcaklıkta ve 20 L/saat hava akışı altında toplamda 50 saat süreyle ısıtılmıştır ve 10 saatlik aralıklarla serbest yağ asidi oranı, peroksit sayısı, dien ve trien (K232 ve K270) değerleri, toplam fenol miktarı, antioksidan aktivite, klorofil ve karotenoid miktarları ile yağ asidi kompozisyonları yönünden analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca örneklerin indüksiyon periyodu olarak ifade edilen oksidatif stabiliteleri belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonunda temel kalite parametrelerinden serbest yağ asidi miktarı, peroksit sayısı, dien ve trien (K232 ve K270) değerlerinin ısıtma işlemi ile birlikte artış gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Örneklerin toplam fenol, antioksidan aktivite, klorofil ve karotenoid miktarları ise ısıtma süresinin artmasıyla birlikte kademeli olarak azalmıştır. Benzer şekilde indüksiyon periyodunun da işlem süresinin artmasıyla birlikte azaldığı tespit edilmiştir. Zeytinyağı örneklerinde tespit edilen yağ asitlerinden linolenik asit miktarının ise işlem sonunda önemli düzeyde arttığı, oleik asit miktarının ise işlem öncesine göre azalma eğiliminde olduğu saptanmıştır.

In this study, biogas, compost and vermicompost plant location selection problem, and the optimal order of the facilities planned to be established are considered as a multi-criteria decision making problem. This study was carried out in order to determine the optimal suitability of biogas, compost and vermicompost (worm manure) production facilities obtained from pre-feasibility study in order to determine and evaluate the animal and slaughterhouse wastes that were exposed in Yozgat region. The facilities included in the ranking were determined within the scope of the in Pre-Feasibility and Investment Conformity Study Project for Recycling of Animal Wastes in the TR72 Region Sır. The total investment amount to be established in Yozgat province is $249.9 million and 15 biogas which can generate 69 MW / hour of electricity with an income of 149 million dollars / year. 11 compost production centres with a total investment value of $7 million and revenue of $4.4 million / year; Optimum ordering of 3 production centre facilities with a total investment value of 1.7 million dollars and a revenue of 1.9 million dollars / year and a total of 2.746 tons / year vermicompost was made. Ordering was performed using ARAS and COPRAS methods. The first three sequences proposed in the ranking of clusters of facilities that can be established are as follows; biogas clusters 8, 11 and 15; compost clusters 5, 9, 3; vermicompost sets 2, 1 and 3.

Agricultural production and income are important for Mediterranean region of Turkey. The region and especially Antalya province is well-known with greenhouse production. For greenhouse production achieving sustainability is important for meeting domestic and foreign demand and security of production lands. In order to measure the potential for improving greenhouse operators 281 farmers were surveyed in 2015 in Antalya and profit inefficiency and factors affecting inefficiencies of operators were estimated using stochastic frontier approach. Accordingly, the average inefficiency level of operators was found as 57 %, signifying the potential for improvement. The main objective was to undermine the impact of landownership on this inefficiency level. Yet, the impact of other relevant factors referring to greenhouse structures and famers’ characteristics were estimated as well. While level of education seemed to reduce inefficiency, household size had appeared as an inefficiency rising factor referring to professional labour endowment of greenhouse production in Antalya. Being renter of land appeared as an inefficiency rising factor as well as holding plastic house or having located in the western parts of Antalya. These findings indicated importance of supporting improved production technologies and use of strengthened structures. In addition, it appeared as essential to provide incentives to renters to cope with their costs.

İşgücü kavramı, kişilerin veya tüzel kişiliklerin ekonomik faaliyetleri ile birlikte ortaya çıkmıştır. Bir malın veya hizmetin üretimi karşılıklı iş ilişkisine bağlı olarak yürütülmektedir. Özellikle sanayi devrimi sonucunda ortaya çıkan işçi sınıfı ile birlikte işçilerin ve işverenlerin hak ile yükümlülükleri konusunda hukuki kurallara ihtiyaç duyulmaya başlanmıştır. Temelde sanayi ağırlıklı olan bu hukuki düzenlemeler tarım sektörünü çoğunlukla kapsam dışı bırakmıştır. Tarım işletmelerinin aile işgücüne dayalı bir yapısı olduğu için, dışarıdan mal ve hizmet alımı konusunda iş sözleşmesi düzenlenmesi diğer sektörlere oranla daha azdır. Tarım sektöründe kurumsallaşmanın yaygın olmaması, tarım işçisi sınıfının olmaması, kendi hesabına çalışan aile işletmelerinin yoğun olması, gibi nedenler gelişmekte olan Türkiye gibi ülkelerde tarımsal iş hukukunun sadece iş hukukunun bir yan dalı olarak kalmasına yol açmıştır. Çalışmaya konu olan Kuzey Amerika ülkelerinde, özellikle Amerika ve Kanada’da, tarımsal iş hukuku yasal sistem içerisinde özel bir hukuk dalı olarak yer almaktadır. Amerika ve Kanada federal bir yönetim sistemi ile yönetilmekte olup, her eyaletin genel yasal çerçeve yanında özel düzenlemeleri de bulunmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, Kuzey Amerika ülkelerinden Amerika ve Kanada’da tarımsal iş hukuku konusunda gelişmelerle Türkiye’yi karşılaştırmaktır. Bu kapsamda Amerika ve Kanada’da tarımsal ücretler, mevsimlik ve göçmen işçiler, çocuk işçi ile sosyal güvence ve iş sağlığı konularındaki yasal düzenlemeler incelenmiş ve Türkiye’nin mevcut yasal mevzuatı ile birlikte değerlendirilmiştir.
