The amount of seed protein in different genotypes of chickpea (Cicer arietinum Linn.) was considerably influenced by the location in Gujarat. The effect of genotypes and genotypes x locations was low but significant. Samples from Arnej and Bharuch had high protein but those from Tanchha had low protein
