(group C) the I.M. injection of 25mg PGF2a was supplemented with intrauterine infusion of a suspension of antibiotics and sulphonilamides. d)In 29 cows bearing a C.L. (Group D) the treatment consisted of infusing 10 mg PGF2a diluted in 10 ml of saline into the cornu ipsilateral to the ovary bearing the corpus luteum. The animals were inseminated 72 and 96hrs after treatment. The percentage of restoration of fertility were evaluated on the basis of calvings and in a few cases on the results of the palpation of the uterus in the 2-3rd month of pregnacy.
