The results of evaluating the combining ability of crossed sows of Large-sized White breed MM-1xKB-KN and crosses MM-1xUrzhumsky with boars of meat breeds Hempshire, Duroc, Landrace and specialized lines of Large-sized White breed AK-KB-4 and KN-KB-1 by slaughter and meat qualities are presented. To produce marketable young stock with higher fattening and meat qualities it is most advantageous to use crossed sows of Large-sized White breed MM-1xKB-KN in combination with boars of Hempshire and Duroc breeds and crossed sows MM-1xUrzhumsky with boars of Landrace breeds
