Changes of carcass fat and fatty acids in backfat thickness in fattening pigs fed diets with additional fat
1998
Migdal, W. (Akademia Rolnicza, Krakow (Poland)) | Zivkovic, B. | Fabjan, M.
Feeding fattening pigs up to 100 kg body weight by fodder mixtures containing vegetable fat (post-refining fatty acids, peanut oil), animal fats (lard) or fodder fat (soaps of calcium and magnesium) did not cause the increase of fat in carcass. Such a nutrition caused changes in fatty acid content in backfat.
