2000
Tagarino, F.P. | Malinis, A.P. | Balute, E.LL. | Lizano, H.N.
The designed depulping machine was made of metal and could be operated by one person. It consisted of three parts: the hopper; the depulping unit; and the nut or pulp separating unit. The designed machine has the potential of recovering fresh pulp at an estimated quantity of 630 metric tons (BUCAF et.al., 1997). This quantity if converted to feed ingredient could provide an economic return of around 2.3 million pesos. The pulp of pili [Canarium ovatum] is viable substitute for corn feed ingredient
