The designed depulping machine was made of metal and could be operated by one person. It consisted of three parts: the hopper; the depulping unit; and the nut or pulp separating unit. The designed machine has the potential of recovering fresh pulp at an estimated quantity of 630 metric tons (BUCAF et.al., 1997).
