The apricot variety NJA 13 was utilized for the extraction of oil. Apricot kernels contained 46.5% oil. Physico-chemical properties of the apricot kernel oil have been determined. Fatty acid composition was carried out by gas chromatography which had shown fatty acid profile from C 6 to C 18:2. Oil contained 82.65% unsaturated and 17.40% saturated fatty acids.
