The results of this study showed only slight alterations in hematological profile in broilers due to the influence of STOC (sucrose thermal oligosaccharide caramel) and feed restriction. The observation of reduced numbers of Gram negative bacteria in birds fed STOC (sucrose thermal oligosaccharide caramel) with feed restriction needs further investigation.
