In experimental part there was taken during autopsy of 7 brown hare individuals from autumn hunts (in hunting period of 2001) fat tissue from spinal area, intestines and kidneys. Similarly there were obtained samples for comparison from 7 individuals of rabbit. Method of thin-layer chromatography (sorbents Macherey - Nagel, GmbH) was used for analysis. It was found that with the group of hares the content of acylglycerols was significantly higher, similarly to heterolipids and there was not found any cholesterol while with rabbits there was found lower content of triacylglycerols, the same content of heterolipids and higher content of cholesterol.
