In BG systolic blood pressure by 17.8%, diastolic – by 18.3%, in CG the pressure declined by 10.5 and 9.9%, respectively. In BG fasting glucose in venous blood reduced by 24.7%, in capillary blood – by 19.5%; in CG – by 19.7 and 16.1%. 40 min after breakfast sugar was lower than prior to treatment, in BF – by 44.9%, in CG – by 27.6%. In BG a decline of total cholesterol by 16.5%in serum was observed, and low density lipoprotein cholesterol – by 18%, triglycerides – by 25%. In CG only total cholesterol reduced by 12.6%. Initially increased diene conjugates and malondialdehyde in serum in BG reduced by 18.2% and 145.7%, in CG – diene conjugates reduced by 21%, malondialdehyde –increased by 14.1%. In BG the activity of superoxide dismutase in erythrocytes by 11.2%, and glutathione peroxidase – by 12.4%. It is concluded about positive influence of tableted green tea on the patients suffering from pancreatic diabetes.
