The present work was focused on the development of formulas for vegetable-whey based beverages. Base for manufacturing of beverages consisted of water solutions of tomato concentrate, and powdered demineralized sweet or acid whey as well its permeate. This study revealed a broader market possibility for whey utilization and for the manufacturing of beverages based on whey-vegetable blends with reduced level of lactose
