shIn 1970-72 field experiments the pasture was fertilized with 250, 560 or 1120 kg NPK + Mg, Mn, Cu, B, cobalt and Zn. By fertilizing rate 240 kg N/ha per year the forage protein content met the requirement of cows at average level of daily milk yield (10-15 l). High nitrogen fertilization rate with supplement of Mg and some trace elements increased some essential amino acids content in the pasture forage. Feeding the cows on green fodder from intensively fertilized pasture led to increasing the protein content in cows' blood and
