shIn 1970-72 field experiments the pasture was fertilized with 250, 560 or 1120 kg NPK + Mg, Mn, Cu, B, cobalt and Zn. By fertilizing rate 240 kg N/ha per year the forage protein content met the requirement of cows at average level of daily milk yield (10-15 l). High nitrogen fertilization rate with supplement of Mg and some trace elements increased some essential amino acids content in the pasture forage.
