Isoenzymatic analysis in scab resistant apple varieties

إنجليزي. Isozymes were used to identify 15 scab resistent apple genotypes, chosen for their different genes carrying the resistance, compared to 5 susceptible varieties. Fourteen enzyme systems were tested with starch gel electrophoresis. Combining the enzyme systems of PGM and 6-PGD, resulted the most polimorphic ones, it has been possible to distinguish all the tested genotypes. On the other hand we have not found an isoenzyme marker for the resistance, present in all the resistent and absent in all susceptible

Gli isoenzimi sono stati utilizzati per identificare 15 genotipi di melo resistenti a ticchiolatura, scelti per il diverso gene portatore della resistenza, e posti a confronto con 5 varieta' suscettibili. Le analisi sono state condotte mediante elettroforesi orizzontale su gel di amido e hanno riguardato 14 sistemi enzimatici. Con le combinazioni dei due sistemi enzimatici risultati maggiormente polimorfici (PGM, 6-PGD) e' stato possibile discriminare tutti i genotipi saggiati. Non sono invece stati rivelati, al momento, marcatori del carattere resistenza, ovvero bande enzimatiche capaci di differenziare i genotipi resistenti da quelli suscettibili
