Isoenzymatic analysis in scab resistant apple varieties

English. Isozymes were used to identify 15 scab resistent apple genotypes, chosen for their different genes carrying the resistance, compared to 5 susceptible varieties. Fourteen enzyme systems were tested with starch gel electrophoresis. Combining the enzyme systems of PGM and 6-PGD, resulted the most polimorphic ones, it has been possible to distinguish all the tested genotypes. Gli isoenzimi sono stati utilizzati per identificare 15 genotipi di melo resistenti a ticchiolatura, scelti per il diverso gene portatore della resistenza, e posti a confronto con 5 varieta' suscettibili. Le analisi sono state condotte mediante elettroforesi orizzontale su gel di amido e hanno riguardato 14 sistemi enzimatici. Con le combinazioni dei due sistemi enzimatici risultati maggiormente polimorfici (PGM, 6-PGD) e' stato possibile discriminare tutti i genotipi saggiati. Non sono invece stati rivelati, al momento, marcatori del carattere resistenza, ovvero bande enzimatiche capaci di differenziare i genotipi resistenti da quelli suscettibili
