Those who keep tabs on social and economic trends point to these factors; a growing number of women, married and single, in the work force; more families living on two incomes; the increasing importance of convenience in eating out; more people in that age group--25 to 44--inclined to eat out often; and the impact of advertising and promotion by large foodservice chains.
