La carne de cabro es un alimento que está siendo potencialmente comercializado a nivel mundial como un alimento para la seguridad alimentaria, esta carne se ha vuelto un producto importante para algunos mercados siendo un producto muy costoso por sus características nutricionales y su bajo contenidos de grasa, podemos evidenciar que la población de la ciudad de Villavicencio ha escuchado, conoce y han consumido carne de cabro, abriendo una posibilidad a la comercialización de los derivados de las explotaciones caprinas.
