اظهر المزيد [+] اقل [-]إنجليزي. The aim of this study consists in turning out an assessment of the mechanization of the small and medium-sized farms in Martinique. After considering the offer of agricultural tractors and equipement, the needs have been taken into account with the help of a survey carried out on 42 farms. A serious lack equipment and investment has been underlined as well as a limited access to skilled or not skilled labour force. Proposals for research-development actions on farm mechanization are given in order to make up for the present inadequate technical environment.

Après avoir étudié l'offre en tracteurs et équipements agricoles, une analyse des besoins a été réalisée par enquête auprès de 42 exploitants. On observe un déficit important en matière d'équipements et d'investissements avec parallèlement un accès réduit à la main d'oeuvre qualifiée ou non. Des propositions d'actions de recherche-développement en mécanisation sont faites afin de remédier aux insuffisances de l'environnement technique actuel.
