Mostrar más [+] Menos [-]Inglés. The aim of this study consists in turning out an assessment of the mechanization of the small and medium-sized farms in Martinique. After considering the offer of agricultural tractors and equipement, the needs have been taken into account with the help of a survey carried out on 42 farms. A serious lack equipment and investment has been underlined as well as a limited access to skilled or not skilled labour force. Proposals for research-development actions on farm mechanization are given in order to make up for the present inadequate technical environment.
Mostrar más [+] Menos [-]Francés. Cette étude a pour objet l'établissement d'un bilan de la mécanisation des petites et moyennes exploitations agricoles de la Martinique. Après avoir étudié l'offre en tracteurs et équipements agricoles, une analyse des besoins a été réalisée par enquête auprès de 42 exploitants. On observe un déficit important en matière d'équipements et d'investissements avec parallèlement un accès réduit à la main d'oeuvre qualifiée ou non. Des propositions d'actions de recherche-développement en mécanisation sont faites afin de remédier aux insuffisances de l'environnement technique actuel.
