The article mentions that the special attention is deserved by such persimmon varieties being included into the collection of Garden: Nikita Burgundy – the most famous of the hardiest varieties, widely used in industrial horticulture grade foreign breeding Hana Fuyu and a new, high-yielding variety of domestic breeding Souvenir of Autumn. Plant varieties included into the studying, grow in the same conditions at the collection site, which is located 200 meters from the coast at a height of 20-40 m above its level. Деревьям по 15 лет, схема посадки 6 х 6 метров. По качеству плодов выбранные сорта относятся к группе константных терпких, у которых плоды становятся съедобными только при полном созревании. Сорта отличаются повышенной зимостойкостью, а устойчивость к болезням позволяет минимизировать использование ядохимикатов для обработки растений, что в свою очередь создает условия для получения экологически чистых продуктов питания. Изучение химического состава плодов трех сортов хурмы восточной показало высокое содержание в них калия, что позволяет использовать их как общеукрепляющее средство. Результаты исследований показали, что по содержанию эссенциальных элементов лидируют плоды сорта Сувенир осени, менее ценными являются плоды сорта Никитская бордовая, а плоды сорта Hana Fuyu по этому показателю занимают промежуточное положение. | Серед сортів хурми, що входять до колекції Саду, на особливу увагу заслуговують: Нікітська бордова – найвідоміший із морозостійких сортів, широко поширений у промисловому садівництві зарубіжної селекції Hana Fuyu, новий, високоврожайний сорт вітчизняної селекції Сувенір осені. Рослини сортів, включених у вивчення, ростуть в однакових умовах на колекційній ділянці, розташованій у 200 м від берега моря на висоті 20–40 м над його рівнем. Деревам по 15 років, схема посадки 6 х 6 метрів. За якістю плодів вибрані сорти відносяться до групи константних терпких, у яких плоди стають їстівними тільки за повного дозрівання. Сорти відрізняються підвищеною зимостійкістю, а стійкість до хвороб дає можливість мінімізувати використання отрутохімікатів для обробки, що, в свою чергу, створює умови для отримання екологічно чистих продуктів харчування. Вивчення хімічного складу плодів трьох сортів хурми східної показало високий уміст у них калію, що дає можливість використовувати їх як загальнозміцнюючий засіб. Отримані результати досліджень показали, що за вмістом есенціальних елементів кращими будуть плоди сорту Сувенір осені, менш цінними – плоди сорту Нікітська бордова, а плоди сорту Hana Fuyu за цим показником займають проміжне положення.

Yield and sugar content genetic analyzes for hybrids developed engaging pollinating lines of the first and the second inbred generations throughout two cycles of recurrent breeding has underpinned the determination of regularities for combinability expression in crossing components and the change of their gene interaction types. This unveiled the lack of correlation between the parents descriptions as selected from groups that displayed contrast combining of productivity components and the lines combinability derived thereof. This provided a ground for correcting the breeding technology of the development of MS hybrids through the exclusion of individual polarization as phenotype based breeding method with replacing this by the assessment of economical value of the topcrossing components. The genetic value was determined for pollinator lines of І1 first hybrid generation by productivity components derived from multiple seed populations by Ulad breeding. 7 economically valuable lines were derived from U752 population by yield and 17 by sugar content, whereas 6 and 10 limes were derived from КМ2, respectively . This provided a ground for the development of synthetic varieties that displayed yield and sugar content characteristics improved, respectively, by 9,4 and 2,4% (U752 initial population ) and by 4,4 and 8,3% ( КМ2 initial population) compared to group standard. The structure of genetic variability of MS hybrids productivity as developed engaging І2 .first and second inbred generation. In the genotype variation of characteristics of hybrids derived from І1 pollinators of recurrent breeding first cycle the additive effects of both parental forms prevailed, and as regards the hybrids developed engaging І2 pollinators of the second cycle of recurrent breeding non-additive effects of the components interaction prevailed. In the second cycle of recurrent breeding 7 І2 lines valuable for combining were singled out, which had high general combinability by yield, and 8 were singled out by sugar content. 5 lines were singled out: U752/5/7, U752/84/3, КМ2/33/4, КМ2/34/7, КМ2/75/4, which combined high general combinability by yield and sugar content at once. Heterosis effect of hybrid combinations was subject to total fusion of additive and non-additive effects of the genes controlling quantitative characteristics of the productivity. The best hybrids yield engaging І2, pollinator lines selected out of U752 and КМ2 multi-seed populations ranged within 104...117,3%, sugar content – 102,4...106,0%, while that of synthetic varieties – 113,4 and 103,6% (U752) and 106,7 and 109,3% (КМ2), respectively, against the group standard.

Выявлено отсутствие связи между характеристикой родоначальников, отобранных из групп с контрастным сочетанием элементов продуктивности и комбинационной способностью линий, полученными на их основе. Это дает основание для коррекции технологии селекционного процесса создания МС  гибридов путем исключения индивидуальной поляризации как метода отбора по фенотипу и замены ее определением генетической ценности компонентов в топкроссных скрещиваниях. Определена генетическая ценность линий-опылителей первого инбредного поколения І1 по элементам продуктивности, полученных из многосемянных популяций уладовского происхождения. Из популяции У752 выделено 7 генетически ценных линий по урожайности и 17 – по сахаристости, а из популяции КМ2 – соответственно 6 и 10 линий. На их основе созданы синтетики с улучшенными параметрами урожайности и сахаристости, соответственно на 9,4 и 2,4% (исходная популяция У752) и на 4,4 и 8,3% (исходная популяция КМ2) по сравнению с групповым стандартом. Проанализирована структура генотипов изменчивости элементов продуктивности МС гибридов, созданных при участии опылителей и первого и второго инбредных поколений. В генотипической вариации признаков гибридов, созданных на основе опылителей І1 первого цикла рекуррентного отбора преобладающими были аддитивные эффекты обоих родительских форм, а у гибридов, сформированных с участием опылителей І2 второго цикла рекуррентного отбора – неаддитивные эффекты взаимодействия компонентов. Во втором цикле рекуррентного отбора выделено 7 комбинационно-ценных линий І2 с высокой ОКС по урожайности и 8 – по сахаристости. Выделено 5 линий: У752/5/7, У752/84/3, КМ2/33/4, КМ2/34/7, КМ2/75/4, которые сочетали высокую комбинационную способность по урожайности и сахаристости одновременно. Гетерозисный эффект гибридных комбинаций зависел от суммарного сочетания положительных аддитивных и неадитивних эффектов генов, контролирующих количественные признаки, влияющие на продуктивность. Урожайность лучших гибридов с участием линий-опылителей І2, выделенных из многосемянных популяций У752 и КМ2, составляла 104 ... 117,3%, сахаристость – 102,4 ... 106,0%, а улучшенных синтетиков соответственно 113,4 и 103,6% (У752) и 106,7 и 109,3% (КМ2) от группового стандарта. | На основі генетичного аналізу урожайності та цукристості гібридів, створених за участю ліній- запилювачів першого і другого інбредних поколінь упродовж двох циклів рекурентного добору встановлено закономірності прояву комбінаційної здатності компонентів схрещування і зміну у співвідношенні типів генних взаємодій. Виявлено відсутність зв’язку між характеристикою родоначальників, відібраних з груп з контрастним поєднанням елементів продуктивності та комбінаційною здатністю ліній, отриманими на їх основі. Це дає підставу для корекції технології селекційного процесу створення ЧС гібридів через вилучення індивідуальної поляризації як методу добору за фенотипом і заміни її визначенням генетичної цінності компонентів в топкросних схрещуваннях. Визначена генетична цінність лінійзапилювачів першого інбредного покоління І1 за елементами продуктивності, що походять із багатонасінних популяцій уладівської селекції. З популяції У752 виділено 7 генетично-цінних ліній за врожайністю і 17 – за цукристістю, а з популяції КМ2 – відповідно 6 і 10 ліній. На їх основі створено синтетики з поліпшеними параметрами врожайності та цукристості відповідно на 9,4 і 2,4% (вихідна популяція У752) і на 4,4 і 8,3% (вихідна популяція КМ2) порівняно з груповим стандартом. Проаналізована структура генотипної мінливості елементів продуктивності ЧС гібридів, створених за участю запилювачів першого і другого інбредного покоління І2. В генотипній варіації ознак гібридів, створених на основі запилювачів І1 першого циклу рекурентного добору, переважаючими були адитивні ефекти обох батьківських форм, а у гібридів, сформованих за участю запилювачів І2 другого циклу рекурентного добору – неадитивні ефекти взаємодії компонентів. У другому циклі рекурентного добору виділено 7 комбінаційно-цінних ліній І2 з високою ЗКЗ за врожайністю і 8 – за цукристістю. Виділено 5 ліній: У752/5/7, У752/84/3, КМ2/33/4, КМ2/34/7, КМ2/75/4, які поєднували високу ЗКЗ за урожайністю та цукристістю одночасно. Гетерозисний ефект гібридних комбінацій залежав від сумарного поєднання позитивних адитивних і неадитивних ефектів генів, що контролюють кількісні ознаки продуктивності. Урожайність кращих гібридів за участю ліній-запилювачів І2, виділених з багатонасінних популяцій У752 та КМ2, становила 104...117,3%, цукристість – 102,4...106,0%, а поліпшених синтетиків – відповідно 113,4 та 103,6% (У752) і 106,7 та 109,3% (КМ2) до групового стандарту.

A complex assessment has been completed for fresh and dried products of 10 different varieties and hybrids of carrots on the content of basic biochemical, economic and biological indicators in order to highlight the best suited for drying. Varieties have been singled out, which roots display the highest yield, best marketability, accumulate the most of dry matter, sugars, etc. A close direct correlation between the weight of roots and their marketability has been established. An evaluation of the tested roots for complex organoleptic characteristics has been completed. It is proved that carrot drying is profitable. The yield and dry matter content in roots are key influence factors on profitability of dry carrot production. By the set of parameters under studying varieties most suitable for drying, Krasniy Velikan and Dlinnaia Krasnaia, have been selected. Profitability of their drying exceeds 40%.

Проведена комплексная оценка свежей и сухой продукции моркови 10 различных сортов и гибридов по содержанию основных биохимических, хозяйственно-биологических показателей с целью подбора наиболее пригодных к сушке. Выделены сорта, корнеплоды которых характеризируются самой большой урожайностью, имеют самую высокую товарность, накапливают самое большое количество сухого вещества, сахаров и др. Установлена тесная прямая корреляционная взаимосвязь между массой корнеплодов и их товарностью. Проведена оценка испытуемых корнеплодов по комплексу органолептических показателей. Доказано, что сушка моркови прибыльная. На рентабельность производства сушеной продукции моркови больше всего влияет урожайность и содержаний сухого вещества у корнеплодах. По комплексу изучаемых показателей выделены наиболее пригодны для сушки сорта Красный великан и Длинная красная. Рентабельность их сушки становит выше 40%. | Наведено результати вивчення ефективності виробництва сухої продукції моркви, вирощеної в умовах Лісостепу України, залежно від сорту. Проведена комплексна оцінка свіжої та сушеної продукції моркви 10 різних сортів за вмістом основних біохімічних, господарськобіологічних показників з метою підбору найпридатніших для сушіння. Виділено сорти, коренеплоди яких характеризуються найвищою врожайністю, мають найвищу товарність, нагромаджують найбільше сухої речовини, цукрів тощо. Встановлено тісний прямий кореляційний зв’язок між масою коренеплодів та їх товарністю. Проведена оцінка дослідних коренеплодів за комплексом органолептичних показників. Доведено, що сушіння моркви є прибутковим. На рентабельність виробництва сушеної продукції моркви найбільше впливає врожайність та вміст сухої речовини у коренеплодах. За комплексом досліджуваних показників виділені найпридатніші для сушіння сорти Красний велікан та Длінная красная. Рентабельність їх сушіння становить понад 40%.

The basic stages and trends of the development are detected for the vertical financial equalizing in Ukraine, which essentially corresponded to the changes in arrangement of inter-budget relations. It is proved that the currently available trends in the development of inter-budget relations in Ukraine have been associated with the stages of vertical financial equalizing in Ukraine. The current system for financial vertical equalization in Ukraine is self-contradictory and slows down social and economical development of the country. Taking this into account the proposals were established as regards the main approaches to further reforming of the system of vertical financial equalization in Ukraine in terms of its shifting to the market economy, setting budget laws of the country in conformity to the legislation on the structure of executive power and local governments, as well as other acts of law determining their functions.

Recommended area of dissemination included Steppe, Forest-Steppe and Woodlands. The Blago variety has been developed in the Institute of Irrigated Agriculture at the NAAS of Ukraine and is suitable for cultivation under the conditions of irrigated farming and regular (nonirrigated) farming. This is the only research institution in Ukraine that develops winter wheat varieties for irrigated farming following specific program. As is generally known there are specific conditions at irritated plots. Increased moisture of soil and air, root nutrition mode sufficiently balanced with the elements required constitute special microclimate for the agrocenosis of winter wheat at irrigated soil, which ensure sustainable and high yields across space and time. Nevertheless, not only these conditions facilitate the varieties of wheat, but pests and pathogens as well, thereby maliciousness of the latter, especially that of the diseases, significantly increase compared to nonirrigated crops. The yield potential for Blago as a new variety of winter wheat makes 9 to 10 tons per hectare, and is implemented at irritated lands of the South, as well as in the Woodland and Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Повышенная увлажненность почвы и воздуха, достаточно сбалансированный необходимыми элементами режим корневого питания – это составляющие особого микроклимата в агроценозах озимой пшеницы на орошаемых землях, который обеспечивает высокие и стабильные урожаи культуры в пространстве и времени. Однако такие условия являются благоприятными не только для растений пшеницы, но и для возбудителей различных болезней и вредителей, из-за чего вредоносность их, особенно болезней, существенно возрастает по сравнению с неполивными посевами. Новый сорт пшеницы мягкой озимой Благо имеет урожайный потенциал 9,0–10,0 т/га, который реализуется на поливных землях южного региона, в зонах Лесостепи и Полесья Украины. Относится к генотипам универсального использования: высокая адаптивная способность позволяет использование как на неполивных, так и на орошаемых землях. Підвищена зволоженість ґрунту та повітря, достатньо збалансований необхідними елементами режим кореневого живлення – це складові особливого мікроклімату в агроценозі пшениці озимої на зрошуваних землях, який забезпечує високі і сталі урожаї культури у просторі та часі. Однак такі умови є сприятливими не тільки для рослин пшениці, але й для збудників різних хвороб і шкідників, через що шкодочинність їх, особливо хвороб, істотно зростає порівняно з неполивними посівами. Новий сорт пшениці м’якої озимої Благо має врожайний потенціал 9,0–10,0 т/га, який реа­лізується на поливних землях південного регіону, у зонах Лісостепу та Полісся України. Відноситься до генотипів універсального використання: висока адаптивна здатність дає можливість використання як на неполивних, так і на зрошуваних землях. Збалансований за комплексом цінних господарських ознак.

The objective of the research is to improve the techno­logy of growing high-quality seeds of millet broomcorn by means of the optimization of sowing terms and methods, aimed at increasing its productivity and improving seed qualities under conditions of unstable moistening of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Scientific literature review indicates the study of the influence of these technology elements on the formation of sowing qualities and crop capacity of millet seeds has been of schematic and occasional nature. The issue has not been studied in this region condition at all, that is why the research has considerable significance and novelty. Analysis, observations and calculations were done by means of conventional methods. Research results indicate that under conditions of unstable moistening of the southern part of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine the highest yield of Slobozhanske and Lana varieties was reached at sowing in drills – 39.2 and 41.0 metric centners per hectare, respectively. That was 2.4 and 3.9 metric centners per hectare increase against the wide-row sowing. In the years with optimal hydrothermal conditions maximum seed productivity of millet broomcorn at the level of 4.24 to 4.79 metric tons per hectare (Slobozhanske variety) and 4.53 to 5.28 metric tons per hectare (Lana variety) was observed at postponing the sowing terms to the third decade of May. If atypical for the region hydrothermal conditions (drought or excessive moistening) are forecasted du­ ring the vegetation period of millet, the highest productivity is provided by sowing in the second decade of May. Early sowing in the first decade of May causes decrease in yield at the level of 0.14 to 0.48 metric tons per hectare (Slobozhanske variety) and 0.14 to 0.48 metric tons per hectare (Lana variety); if the sowing is postponed to the first decade of June, the yield increases by 0.31 to 0.77 and 0.39 to 0.84 metric tons per hectare, respectively. Early spring and summer sowing using ordinary drill method contribute to the formation of the highest qua­ lity of seeds – the overall quality index was the highest at the level of 97,9 to 98,5% (Slobozhanske variety) and 98,3 to 100,0% (Lana variety).

Обобщение источников научной литературы свидетельствует, что изучение данных элементов технологии на формирование посевных качеств и урожайных свойств семян проса носит схематический и единичный характер, в условиях региона исследований вовсе не изучалось, поэтому имеет значительную актуальность и новизну. Учёты, анализы и наблюдения проводили согласно общепринятых методик. Результаты исследований свидетельствуют, что при выращивании семян проса посевного в условиях неустойчивого увлажнения южной части Правобережной Лесостепи Украины формированию наибольшего урожая сортов Слобожанское и Лана способствует обычный строчный сев – соответственно 3,92 и 4,10 т/га или на 0,24 и 0,39 т/га больше по сравнению с широкорядным способом. В годы с оптимальными гидротермическими условиями максимальную семенную продуктивность проса посевного на уровне 4,24–4,79 т/га (сорт Слобожанское) и 4,53–5,28 т/га (сорт Лана) обеспечило перенесение сроков его посева на третью декаду мая. При прогнозе нетипичных (засуха или избыточное увлажнение) для региона гидротермических условий на протяжении вегетационного периода проса наибольшую производительность его семеноводческих посевов обеспечивает сев во второй декаде мая. Сев в первой декаде мая вызывает недобор урожая на уровне 0,14–0,41 т/га (сорт Слобожанское) и 0,14–0,48 т/га (сорт Лана), а при её переносе на первую декаду июня он повышается до 0,31–0,77 и 0,39– 0,84 т/га. Формированию наивысшего качества семенного материала способствуют ранний весенний и летний сев обычным строчным способом – соответственно обобщённый показатель качества был наивысшим и на уровне 97,9–98,5% (сорт Слобожанское) и 98,3 – 100,0% (сорт Лана). | За вирощування насіння проса посівного в умовах нестійкого зволоження південної частини Правобережного Лісостепу України за звичайного рядкового способу сівби отримано найбільший врожай сортів Слобожанське та Лана – 3,92 та 4,10 т/га відповідно або на 0,24 и 0,39 т/га більше порівняно з широкорядковим способом. За роки з оптимальними гідротермічними умовами максимальну насіннєву продуктивність проса посівного на рівні 4,24–4,79 т/га (сорт Слобожанське) і 4,53–5,28 т/га (сорт Лана) отримано при сівбі у третій декаді травня. За прогнозу нетипових (засуха або перезволоження) для регіону гідротермічних умов протягом вегетаційного періоду проса найбільшу продуктивність його насіннєвих посівів забезпечує сівба у другій декаді травня. Сівба в першій декаді травня призводить до недобору врожаю 0,14–0,41 т/га (сорт Слобожанское) і 0,14–0,48 т/га (сорт Лана), а за сівби у першу декаду червня він підвищується до 0,31–0,77 і 0,39–0,84 т/га відповідно. Формуванню найвищої якості насіннєвого матеріалу сприяє рання весняна та літня сівба звичайним рядковим способом – відповідно узагальнений показник якості був найвищим у сорту Слобожанське (97,9–98,5%) і сорту Лана ( 98,3–100,0%).

Collection samples of the onion of varying ecological and geographical origin have been scrutinized under the conditions of Chernigiv region to establish their susceptibility to Botrytis allii Munn pathogen. It is noted that the disease develops, first of all, on samples with dry leafs colored white, and established that enhanced resistance to the pathogen is inherent in forms of anthocyanin or red coloration or dry and damp skins (Rubin, Amfora, Veselka, Mavka, Braushverska Chervona, Venta F1, Tango F1, Golubka). Sources of resistance to neck rot are indicated (Olina, Texas Curli, Violetta, Red Baron F1), which have not been damaged by the pathogen at all through the three years of study. The use of parental pars quality of such samples will enable to produce prospective breeding material at hybridization.

Отмечено, что в первую очередь болезнь прогрессировала на образцах с сухими чешуйками белого цвета. Установлено, что повышенной устойчивостью к патогену владеют формы с антоциановой или красной расцветкой сухих и сырых чешуек (Рубин, Амфора, Веселка, Мавка, Брауншвейгская красная, Вента F1, Танго F1, Голубка). Выделены источники устойчивости против шейной гнили (Олина, Техас карлі, Виолетта, Red baron F1), которые за три года исследований совсем не поражались патогеном. Использование в качестве родительских пар таких образцов даст возможность получить при гибридизации перспективный селекционый материал. | В умовах Чернігівської області вивчені колекційні зразки цибулі ріпчастої різного екологогеографічного походження на сприйнятливість до збудника Botrytis allii Munn. Відмічено, що, в першу чергу, хвороба прогресувала на зразках із білим забарвленням сухих лусочок. Eстановлено, що підвищеною стійкістю до патогена володіють форми з антоціановим або червоним забарвленням сухих і сирих лусочок (Рубін, Амфора, Веселка, Мавка, Браушверська червона, Вента F1, Танго F1, Голубка). Виділені джерела стійкості проти шийкової гнилі (Оліна, Техас карлі, Віолетта, Red baron F1), які за три роки досліджень зовсім не вражалися патогеном. Використання якості батьківських пар таких зразків дасть можливість отримати для гібридизації перспективний селекційний матеріал.

To study effects of low temperatures on Lavandula angustifolia plants and their response depending on their age and variety as well as identify critical temperature values for such structure elements of plants as bark, cambium, wood, pith. Methods. Field investigation, spectrometric analysis, statistical evaluation. Results. Topicality of investigation of Lavandula angustifolia to be grown in the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine was highlighted. Low temperature effects on structural elements of shoots for 8 varieties of domestic and foreign selection were analyzed. One-year shoots have suffered the most from low temperatures – 4.5 points on a six-point scale, two- and three-year shoots were damaged in a lesser degree – from 0.8 to 2 points. Plants of ‘Feuervogel’ and ‘Maestro’ varieties with total damage coefficient of 11.3% and 10.6% accordingly were the most resistant to low temperatures. These varieties can be recommended to producers for further introduction to the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. Conclusions. Tissues of a lavender one-year shoot were most damaged by low temperatures regardless of a variety, but this organ is ephemeral and can be removed without causing damage to a plant. Two- and three-year shoots, which provide plant recovery, were significantly less damaged. None of the plants from 8 studied lavender varieties was lost under the influence of low temperatures, though some of them were damaged significantly. Such varieties as ‘Feuervogel’, ‘König Humbert’, ‘Veseli notky’ (pith damage is on the level of 1–2 points), ‘Maestro’ (0.8–2.5 points) were the most resistant to low temperature exposure which allows to conclude about successful lavender cultivation under conditions of the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine.

Освещена актуальность исследований лаванды узколис­той (Lavandula angustifolia), выращиваемой в условиях Лесостепи Украины. Проанализировано влияние низких температур на структурные элементы побегов 8 сортов отечественной и зарубежной селекции. Больше всего пов­реждались низкими температурами однолетние побеги – 4,5 балла по шестибалльной шкале, меньше – двух- и трехлетние – от 0,8 до 2 баллов. Самыми устойчивыми к низким температурам оказались растения сортов ‘Feuervogel’, которые суммарно по коэффициенту повреждения достигали 11,3%, и ‘Маэстро’ – 10,6%. Эти сорта можно рекомендовать производителям для интродукции в условиях Лесостепи Украины.Выводы. Ткани однолетнего побега лаванды больше всего повреждались низкими температурами независимо от сорта, однако это – эфемерный орган, который можно удалить без ущерба для выживания растений. Двух- и трехлетние побеги, обеспечивающие восстановление растения, имели значительно меньшие повреждения. Из 8 сортов лаванды, которые были в опыте, ни одно растение не погибло под влиянием низких температур, хотя в некоторых из них коэффициент повреждения был весьма значительным. Самыми устойчивыми сортами при воздействии на них низких температур оказались ‘Feuervogel’, ‘König Humbert’, ‘Веселые нотки’ (пов­реждение сердцевины – 1–2 балла), ‘Маэстро’ (повреждение сердцевины – 0,8–2,5 балла), что позволяет сделать вывод об успешности выращивания лаванды в условиях Лесостепи Украины. | Мета. Вивчити вплив низьких температур на рослини лаванди вузьколистої та їхню реакцію залежно від віку й сорту, а також визначити критичні значення температури для структурних елементів її рослин: кори, камбію, деревини, серцевини.Методи. Польовий, спектрометричний, статистичний.Результати. Висвітлено актуальність досліджень лаванди вузьколистої (Lavandula angustifolia), яку вирощують в умовах Лісостепу України. Проаналізовано вплив низьких температур на структурні елементи пагонів 8 сортів вітчизняної та іноземної селекції. Найбільше пошкоджень від низьких температур зазнали однорічні пагони – 4,5 бала за шестибальною шкалою, найменше – дво- та трирічні – від 0,8 до 2 балів. Найстійкішими до низьких температур виявилися рослини сортів ‘Feuervogel’, що сумарно за коефіцієнтом пош­кодження досягали 11,3%, та ‘Маестро’ – 10,6%. Ці сорти можна рекомендувати виробникам для інтродукції в умовах Лісостепу України.Висновки. Тканини однорічного пагону лаванди найбільшою мірою були пошкоджені низькими температурами незалежно від сорту, однак це – ефемерний орган, який можна видалити без шкоди для виживання рослин. Дво- та трирічні пагони, що забезпечують відновлення рослини, мали значно менші пошкодження. У 8 сортів лаванди, які були в досліді, жодна рослина не загинула від впливу низьких температур, хоч у деяких з них коефіцієнт пошкодження був досить значним. Найстійкішими сортами за дії на них низьких температур виявилися: ‘Feuervogel’, ‘König Humbert’, ‘Веселі нотки’ (пошкодження серцевини на рівні 1–2 бали), ‘Маестро’ (пошкодження серцевини – 0,8–2,5 бала), що дає змогу зробити висновок про успішність вирощування лаванди в умовах Лісостепу України.

In order to develop the varietal collections of rye and sorghum bicolor as a methodical tool of varietal examination on distinctness, uniformity and stability, a scrutiny has been given to the morphologic description, morphologic description of plant varieties systematization, as well as field examinations on the facilities of the Poltava and Zhitomir state centers for variety testing. The work undertaken has resulted into the establishment of common knowledge rye, sorghum bicolor varieties collections encompassing 330 and 30 varieties, respectively. A morphologic analyzes of common knowledge varieties enabled to single varieties displaying example characters out of the majority of grades of identification characteristics expression. In particular, for sorghum bicolor of 199 grades as set by the Text Guidelines, varieties with example characteristics were selected for 135 grades by 40 identification characters, while in rye for 81grades out of 99 grades existing by 19 identification characteristics. For each crop Lists of varieties displaying example characters were created, with example referencing to characteristic number and state of its expression indicated, namely of 16 sorghum bicolor varieties and 18 varieties of the rye. The common knowledge variety collections established could be considered as a tool for identifying local differences, i.e. in the scale of Ukraine partially embracing CIS and Europe.

Показано их актуальность и значение. Для формирования сортовых коллекций ржи посевной и сорго обыкновенного (двухцветного), как методического инструмента для экспертизы новых сортов в отличие, однородность и  стабильность, был проведен детальный анализ морфологического описания, систематизация морфологического описания сортов растений, а также полевые исследования на базе Полтавского и Житомирского ДЦЕСР. В результате проведенной работы сформированы коллекции общеизвестных сортов ржи посевной, сорго обыкновенного (двухцветного), насчитывающие соответственно 33 и 30 сортов. Морфологический анализ общеизвестных сортов позволил выделить сорта с эталонными признаками из большинства градаций проявления идентификационных признаков. Так, у сорго обыкновенного (двухцветного) из 199 градаций, установленных методикой, сорта с эталонными признаками подобраны на 135 за 40 идентификационными признаками, у ржи посевной – на 81 градацию с 99 градации существующих за 19 идентификационными признаками. Из каждой культуры составлены Перечни сортов с эталонными признаками с указанием эталона на номер признака и ее проявление – сорго обыкновенного (двухцветного) 16 сортов, ржи посевной – 18 сортов. Собранные коллекции общеизвестных сортов, могут рассматриваться как инструмент для определения локального различия, то есть на уровне Украины с частичным вкраплением сортов СНГ и Европы. | Висвітлено проблемні питання формування колекції сортів з еталонними ознаками сорго звичайного (двокольорового) та жита посівного. Показано їх актуальність та значення. Для формування сортових колекцій жита посівного та сорго звичайного (двокольорового) як методичного інструменту для експертизи нових сортів на відмінність, однорідність і стабільність було проведено детальний аналіз морфологічного опису, систематизацію морфологічного опису сортів рослин, здійснено польові дослідження на базі Полтавського та Житомирського ДЦЕСР. У результаті проведеної роботи сформовано колекції загальновідомих сортів жита посівного, сорго звичайного (двокольорового), які нараховують відповідно 33 та 30 сортів. Морфологічний аналіз загальновідомих сортів дав змогу виділити сорти з еталонними ознаками з більшості градацій прояву ідентифікаційних ознак. Так, у сорго звичайного (двокольорового) з 199 градацій, встановлених методикою, сорти з еталонними ознаками підібрано на 135 за 40 ідентифікаційними ознаками, у жита посівного – на 81 градацію з 99 градації існуючих за 19 ідентифікаційними ознаками. З кожної культури складено Переліки сортів з еталонними ознаками із зазначенням еталона на номер ознаки та її прояв – сорго звичайного (двокольорового) 16 сортів, жита посівного – 18 сортів. Зібрані колекції загальновідомих сортів можуть розглядатися як інструмент для визначення локальної відмінності, тобто на рівні України з частковим вкрапленням сортів СНД та Європи.
