This study is devoted to the analysis of results of measuring methane content and specific flow from the Tsimlyansk reservoir surface according to the data collected in the summer-autumn period of 2021–2023. Th e greatest artificial water body in the south of the Russia’s European territory is not adequately surveyed in respect of the greenhouse gases emission.
