Abstract: Agencies, organizations, and individuals have all contributed recipes contained in this collection, designed to maximize the use of USDA commodities tested and adjusted to 96-100 portions. The categories include cereals/grains, main dishes, salads/dressings, soups/sauces/spreads, vegetables, and desserts. Estimated nutrient content, meal pattern contribution information for use in child nutrition programs, and equipment needed accompany each recipe care which is in alphabetical order and is numbered for indexing.
