1986

Four separate consumer groups were discovered in the survey: 1) traditional consumers (38%); 2) weight conscious consumers (28%); 3) health conscious consumers (19%); and 4) uncommitted consumers (12%). This report represents volume I of the survey; it presents a summary of the survey findings. For futher information, volume II provides detailed tables of the results of the study.
