Quality characteristics of certain [Yugoslav] NS corn hybrids

For the investigation performed in this paper were selected 5 NS hybrids of various FAO ripeness groups and various kernel structure - NS 101, NS 251, NS 300, NS 640 and NS 645 ulj. On the basis of the standard analyses there was established chemical composition of the kernel fractions, being: 1) protein content (%/d.m.) according to Kjeldahl; 2) starch content (%/d.m.) according to Ewers; 3) fat content (%/d.m.) according to Soxlett. The results were statistically processed by the application of variance analysis.
