Peach and apricot breeding and characteristics of newly bred cultivars and hybrids

This paper describes the results of peach and apricot breeding by the method of hybridization as well as economic and biological properties of new varieties and hybrids. Due to the quality of fruits, bearing potential and suitable ripening period the following peach hybrids are interesting: No. 4/72 ZAT, No. 20/20 BR, No. 13/6 BR, No. 14/92 BR AND No. 20/55 BR.
