It requires public awareness and co-operation to succeed. The Hawkes Bay Regional Animal Health Advisory Committee (RAHAC) has the vital role of co-ordinating the efforts of the various groups. Co-operation from interested groups has enabled a rapid response to the discovery of endemic tuberculosis
