The use of technical fats such as by-products obtained during the process of the physico-chemical refining of vegetable oils to feed pigs, bred for fattening in quantities 8-10% of the energy ration in the feed, or in substitution of 3% of the dry feed, gave the same effect as the fat and improved the feed compensation for every kg of weight increase and secured a 5-8% cost reduction
