An investigation on 24 pullets and 24 cockerels from each strain, slaughtered at 4, 8, 12 and 16 weeks of life was carried out. The highest body weight in WJ-44 line birds was observed. The higher meat, fat and bone content in carcass of WJ-44 line birds than in that of K-22, LE-99 and A-77 line ones was stated
