Comparison of slaughter performance of K-22, A-77 and LE-99 lines of laying hens with the dual-purpose WJ-44 line hens at 4-16 weeks of life

An investigation on 24 pullets and 24 cockerels from each strain, slaughtered at 4, 8, 12 and 16 weeks of life was carried out. The highest body weight in WJ-44 line birds was observed. The higher meat, fat and bone content in carcass of WJ-44 line birds than in that of K-22, LE-99 and A-77 line ones was stated
