The Estonian land fund and its landscape potential

From the arable land more than 50 is drainaged. The cost of founded drainage is about 1 millard Estonian kroons (EEK). There is a real danger that these systems can fall out of use in case there are obstacles in carrying out the land reform. Another problem is land drainage in connection with re-established farms at agricultural lands, which are afforestated during the previous decades. It is necessary to create the cultivation of the territory both for social infrastructure and landscape reestablishment in Estonia
