Ability of the variety Riesling Italian for the production of the brandy ("Vinjak") and the grape brandy ("Lozovaca")

Analysis of the chemical content has shown that apparent differences between the varieties have not been observed when grape was prepared using the same technological procedure. The differences were evident in the height of the maximum UV absorption and in organoleptic properties. The variety Riesling Italian has given mostly neutral grape brandy. This variety can be recommended for the production of brandies and less for the production of grape brandy.
