Dlamini, A.M. | Dlamini, C.
Samples of raw, pasteurized, sterilized and ultra heat treated milk were analysed for bacteria. Colonies were grown in violet red bile Agar number 2 using the basal and overlay method. Coliforms were detected in both raw and pasteurized milk samples. It was concluded that the consumption of raw milk constituted a health hazard and that pasteurization be carried out under strict hygenic conditions.
