Total of 100 frozen seafood products were examined for the contamination of Bacillus cereus using the Most Probable Number (MPN) method. B. cereus was detected in 8 (16.0 %) of 50 frozen shrimp samples and 17 (34.0 %) of 50 frozen breaded shrimp samples. The positive samples of frozen shrimp and frozen breaded shrimp showed contamination between 3 to 43 and 3 to 240 MPN of B. cereus per gram, respectively.
