Reviews the possible economically oriented ways and methods of disposing coffee processing by-products. The main alternatives of usage include fertlizer, animal feeds, alcohol, biogas, coffein, horticulture and acids among others. Further research into utilization of the by-products is a priority in order to protect the environment besides turning the coffee processing waste into valuable products
