Effect of organic and mineral fertilizers on technological value of winter triticale - Bolero cultivar

It has been found that the grain of plants fertilized with 150 kg of N/ha and lignite coal applied under the previous crop had the best milling properties. The effects of increased N rates on the baking quality of flour varied, depending on the organic fertilizer applied under the previous crop. Manure and lignite coal + manure favourably affected protein and wet gluten contents, sedimentation value, falling number and amylographic features. Lignite coal and increased N rates applied to the previous crop reduced the quality of triticale grain.
