The amino acids content of Amaranth grain has been established.Using adapted for geese methods, the true digestibility of the amino acids has been established.The content of the essential amino acids is, as follow : Lysine - 1.03, Histidine - 0.48, Arginine - 1.70, Treonine - 1.27, Cystine - 0.16, Valine - 0.58, Methionine - 0.23, Isoleucine - 0.43, and the true digestibility coefficients - 69.52; 82,48; 88.10; 77.50; 68.23; 64.76; 68.40 and 68.41 respectively.
