[The prediction of the self life of red pepper powder in plastic packages]

The objective of this research was to predict the self life of red pepper powders in plastic packages based on sorption isothermi characteristic by rate of moisture gain. The predicting was carried out by BASIC programs and followed with Quast and Karel and equation (1972). The result showed that the self life of red pepper powders which was stored in the plastics packages, in the multilayer plastics and in the metalized plastics were 29 days, and 191 days respectively
