In the paper are presented the results of measuring mercury in different samples from the environment. Content of mercury has been systematically controlled in feed for contemporary cattle raising: fish meal and Ca-phopshate. Presented are also measured quantities of mercury in different food: milk and milk products, fresh and canned fish, honey, meat and meat products, wheat and game. Based on the measured values it may be concluded that there is a gradual increase, as well in the content of mercury in the samples, also in the number and kinds of samples that contain mercury residue.
