The results of berries chemical composition of various black currant cultivars of belarusianand foreign breeding were given. The changes of cultivar biochemical composition were shown: soluble solids, suggars, titratable acidity, ascorbic acid content, pectin matters and potassium. The best cultivars having a complex of features of single ones are selected for futher use in the breeding
