English. The Italian mycological flora comprises a high number of fungi which in turn include mycorrhyzal species. The latter are of particular interest, since they are often involved in trophic relationships with higher plants. Mycorrhyzal species include highly thought after edible species of considerable gastronomic and economic value, as well as toxic species. It is noteworthy that only a limited number of fungal species can be cultivated, in particular those of the family Tuberaceae

Queste ultime sono di particolare interesse, in quanto sono spesso interessate a rapporti trofici con le piante superiori. Le specie micorriziche includono specie commestibili ben conosciute, di rilevante valore gastronomico ed economico e specie tossiche. E´ noto che solo un numero limitato di specie fungine può essere coltivato, in particolare quelle della famiglia Tuberaceae.]
