Systems of chicken meat production in accordance to the market demands

There were two systems in poultry meat production: intensive and extensive. Chicken meat can be classified as follows: light, standard, heavy broilers, chickens fed according to special nutrition program; chickens reared extensively in the poultry house, on a range, on a traditional range, on a free range; organic production. In this paper the basic normative for every production type are given, together with the description of current status and perspectives of poultry meat production.
