In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was analyzed beef productivity of young cattle of specialized breeds of beef-producing animals and their crossbreeds with maternal black-and-white one, bred at animal breeding farms of the Republic. On the basis of long-term studies there were analyzed of naturalized (acclimatized) abilities, growth and development, meat performance of animals. It was determined that Sharolez, Aberdin-Anguss and Hereford breeds were acclimatized and adapted to climatic conditions of different areas of Belarus, have high performance indices, gave high-quality beef. In the process of boning of left half carcasses the beef yield for black-and-white bull calves was 77,8%, bones – 22,2%; for Aberdin-Anguss x black-and-white bull calves – respectively 81,2% and 18,8%. In accordance with analysis of the morphological composition of half carcasses and natural anatomic junctures, the Aberdin-Anguss x black-and-white bull calves at 20-month old age exceeded herdmates of black-and-white breed. In this respect the crossbred bull calves provided fully-meaty carcasses with high yield of meaty part (more that 80% of flesh).
